Four fighters. One lava pit.

Melee Arena is a blocky sword-fighting brawler for up to four players. Host a match, share a six-digit code, and your friends are in.

Isometric illustration of the Melee Arena map: a stone arena with two raised platforms, four pillars, a lava pit in the middle and four blocky fighters.

Type a code. You’re in the match.

Nobody has to share an IP address or touch their router. Everyone connects out to a small relay that pairs players by code, so a friend across town or across the ocean joins the same way.

4 players
One host and up to three friends per match.
No setup
No port forwarding and no IP addresses.
Offline too
Solo Practice needs no connection at all.

An example code. Every match gets its own.

  1. Host presses Host Game.
The game shows a six-digit code with a copy button.
  2. Friends press Join Game and type the code.
They land in the match as soon as the relay lets them in.
  3. Host presses Start Match.
Anyone who joins later drops straight into the fight already running.

Swing once to slash. Swing again fast to lunge.

Every fighter carries a sword and starts with 100 health. A slash chips away 10. Follow up quickly and the second swing turns into a lunge: you dash forward and hit for 30.

That is four lunges or ten slashes to take someone down. Lava and the drop past the arena edge finish you instantly, and you respawn back at the spawn point.

The lunge window is 0.2 seconds

A small arena with nowhere to hide

One stone floor, built so fights stay close. Use the stairs to hold the high ground, the pillars to break line of sight, and keep your feet off the lava.

  • Stone floor. A 50 by 50 square, open on every side.
  • Two raised platforms. Each has a five-step staircase up from the middle.
  • Four pillars. Cover in the corners of the middle ground.
  • Lava. A 6 by 6 pit in the center. One touch and you’re out.
  • Colorful fighters. Every player spawns with a random vivid color, so you can tell who is who.

Melee Arena is an early build. It started as a Roblox place and has been rebuilt in the Godot engine, so expect rough edges while it grows.

Questions

Do I need to forward ports or share my IP address?

No. The host and every friend connect out to the relay, and the six-digit code pairs them up. Nobody’s home network needs any changes.

How many people can play?

Up to four per match: the host plus three friends.

Can I play without friends or without internet?

Yes. Solo Practice runs entirely on your device, with no code and no connection.

Can people join after the match has started?

Yes. Share the code any time. The host also sees it in a corner of the screen during the match.

What happens if the host leaves?

The match ends for everyone, and players return to the menu. Start a new one to play again.

Is this the same game as the Roblox version?

It began as the Roblox place “Melee Arena [ALPHA]”. The Godot version keeps the same damage numbers and the same 0.2 second lunge window, and adds a bigger map and online play by code.
